NFI Nominated Freight Int’l. Services, Inc. was established in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines in 2003.

Throughout the years, NFI Nominated Freight Int’l. Services, Inc. has established itself as one of the major players in the forwarding industry and has become one of the leading forwarders in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.  We also have a branch in Manila to cater to shipping and logistics needs in Luzon areas.

With the liberalization and globalization of trade, NFI Nominated Freight Int’l. Services, Inc. is continuously expanding its service reach to better serve its customer base.  We are engaged in contract agreements with various regional and worldwide liners and feeder vessel operators to remain competitive in the fast-changing business environment.

Aside from our trademark professional freight forwarding, NFI Nominated Freight Int’l.  Services, Inc. engages in export and import processing and brokerage, both by sea and by air.

Quality Policy


NFI is committed to provide cargo forwarding services, to act as break-bulk agent and cargo consolidator for both domestic and international clients.

The organization shall comply with all the statutory and regulatory requirements governing the business of cargo forwarding and shall continually improve the effectiveness of its quality management system.

NFI has established measurable company quality objectives and shall monitor and review the achievement of these objectives and fulfillment of the foregoing quality policy at a specific interval to address stakeholders requirements.

All NFI employees shall fully understand the quality policy.

This quality policy shall be reviewed on an annual basis for its continuing suitability.

 

Quality Objectives

The quality policy of NFI shall be fulfilled by the attainment of the following measurable quality objectives:

 . Customer satisfaction at a level of at least 85% on an annual basis.
 . Less than 3 customer valid written complaints per month
 . At least 1 new, 1 expanded, 1 walk-in clients per month
 . Zero cargo misrouting
 . 100% implementation of Internal quality auditing
 . 100% implementation of annual training plan
 100% compliance with legal requirements
 . Monthly monitoring and review of the performance of the organization using the Management Performance Review meeting.

 

Leadership Commitment


NFI Top Management demonstrates commitment to the development and implementation of the quality management system and improving its effectiveness by:

  1. Establishing, promoting and understanding the Quality Policy at all levels of the organization.
  2. Communicating to the organization the importance of meeting customer as well as regulatory requirement.
  3. Ensuring company objectives for quality performance which is consistent with the company's purpose for existence are established
  4. Ensuring the availability of resources to fulfill the company's plans and objectives, reviewing company performance and identifying areas for improvement during management during management reviews.
  5. Performing continual improvement in the various business processes.


Customer Focus


Top Management has ensured that customer requirements are determined and met all the time through with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction afer the service is provided through the documented procedures established for all business processes where there is contact with customers.

Those requirements where NFI cannot offer its service. NFI shall courteously advise the customer that it cannot possibly meet its requirements.

Customer satisfaction is measured and monitored, analyzed and provided a priority for improvement on an annual basis.

Road freight and logistics workers in South Africa stage strike action

Transport workers in South Africa walked out on strike this week to fight for better pay and conditions in the road freight and logistics industry. DHL Rolling in Asia

DHL Global Forwarding officials are due to open a new regional hub facility in Korea at the end of this month.
